Information collected from visitors to our website

When you use the A&DS website we collect information about what pages you visit during your time on the A&DS website. This is used purely for statistical research to help us gain an understanding of what pages are most popular and how many people visit our website. Ultimately this information is collected to help us improve our website for all our users. We use Google Analytics to collect this data which means that Cookies are used.

Subscribers to our e-newsletter/mailing list

By signing up to receive our e-newsletter your name and email address will be held on a database. We will send you our quarterly e-newsletter, as well as any special news information – such as invitation to events, activities and opportunities. We sometimes share information about events by trusted and relevant partners, but we never share your details with third parties.

You can unsubscribe from our e-newsletter and mailing list by clicking on the unsubscribe link in any email communication to you. You can also contact us via our contact form if you would like us to remove your details from our database.

We do not share your contact details with anyone outside Architecture and Design Scotland or BRE, however please note that the suppliers of our email marketing programme (Screenmedia) has access to the data to allow them to maintain the system. They do not use, interpret or analyse any of the individual data.
