Coltness High School, Wishaw
A complete makeover in North Lanarkshire has created a fully updated high school and external spaces. The project combines refurbishment and new build to provide a remodelled school of 11,987m for 800 pupils and 85 staff.

This diversity of uses as well as the protected status of what is one of the country’s most iconic heritage structures all added up to present a unique challenge in terms of energy efficiency improvements.
John Brown Engineering, Clydebank
Improving the energy efficiency of the buildings on an industrial site through the use of Contract Energy Management. Works include roof replacement and lighting and heating upgrades.
Land, Sea & Islands Centre; Arisaig
An energy efficient upgrade to a 19th century, stone construction visitor centre which was suffering extensive heat losses. The main focus was to to deliver a 75% saving in operational CO2 emissions.
Leighton Library, Dunblane
The aim was to upgrade the property and improve its thermal performance using materials which were appropriate to the fabric of the building. It was decided that insulating the loft would be the most effective way of improving the energy performance of the building. In 2011 Historic Scotland awarded a grant to the Trustees to allow this work to take place.
Notre Dame Primary School, Glasgow
This remodelled large primary school houses the co-location of Notre Dame Primary School, St Peter’s Primary School, and Anderson Street Nursery into the buildings of the former Dowanhill Primary School in the West End of Glasgow.
SPACE Craigmillar, Edinburgh
